Dusty earned a BFA in sculpture and a degree in Art Education from Arkansas State University in 2001. In 2004 he graduated with an MFA in sculpture form Michigan State, with a year of studying art abroad under his belt.

Dusty currently lives in Arkansas and teaches art at a public elementary school, as well as college courses in the evenings and throughout the summers. His passion for art is apparent in his teaching, as well as through the dedication he commits to his craft.

Dusty’s sculptural/installation works have been exhibited in spaces such as the Brooks Museum of Art in Memphis, the Mobile Museum of Art in Mobile, AL, and the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock, in addition to others. In 2003, Dusty had his first solo exhibition at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids, MI.
